The Blessing

Happy Monday!
I hope you had a productive and restful weekend.

For me, the plan was to go grocery shopping on Friday after work, but the weather was bad, so I decided to go on Saturday morning. I do not mind shopping on Saturday morning, you get everything done before 10am, just before the shops get full, and you also get fresher items. The only downside is having to cook on the same day; it stresses me out because I prefer to prep my ingredients a day earlier so I can finish cooking within two to three hours and still have time for other things.

Considering I had to shop and cook on the same day, I was not sure I would make it to church on Sunday, as I was quite tired from all the work on Saturday. Anyway, I made it to church, and I was so glad I did. In my church, we have an intro song and outro songs, and one of the outro songs today was “The Blessing” by Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes.

During the ministration of this song, I just felt the need to pray for:

The person who is going through a financial drought, I pray God manifest himself as Jehovah Jireh and your barns will be full and overflowing. Philippians 4:19

The person who is struggling with loneliness, I pray you feel the warmth of God, and may the Love of God fill every vacuum you feel. Deuteronomy 31:8

The person going through a bad breakup or a divorce, may God be your anchor in these times and may God comfort you and be always reminded that God is for you. Psalm 34:18, Psalm 147:3

The couple trusting God for a baby or a breakthrough I pray just like God showed up for Hannah and blessed her with Samuel, I pray so shall it be for you. And Just like God parted the red sea for the Israelites may God come through for you in such a manner in Jesus Name. Isaiah 41:10

The person trusting God for genuine friendships, and a godly and kind community, I pray you experience a relationship like that of David and Jonathan and may God bring people that will love you unconditionally. Proverbs 27:17, 1Thessalonians 5:11

The person trusting God for a significant other, I pray God brings the bone of your bone and the flesh of your flesh, the person who will love you intentionally and honestly with no hidden agenda and respect you. Isaiah 34:14, Proverbs 18:22

The person struggling with addictions, I pray God manifest himself as Jehovah our Deliverer and deliver you from the hold of every addiction that has held you bound in Jesus Name. Jeremiah 30:17

The person having any physical or mental health challenge, I pray God manifest himself as Jehovah Rapha and heal you from every infirmity from the crown of your head to sole of your feet, inside out in Jesus Name. Isaiah 53:5, Jeremiah 33:6

To the person seeking answers and direction on next steps, I pray you hear a still small voice directing you the way to go. Isaiah 30:21

To that person worried about a loved one, I pray God goes ahead of you and settles whatever it is that troubles your heart concerning them. 1 Peter 5:7

To you reading this, I pray God grants all your heart desires to the tiniest details according to His will in Jesus Name. Matthew 7:7

Have a lovely week!
